Thomas is a non-Indigenous Senior Research Assistant in the First Nations Cancer and Wellbeing Research Program, providing a range of research support to a number of projects within the team.
Thomas completed an honours year in the field of cardio-oncology at the FNCWR program in 2023. Under supervisors Dr Abbey Diaz, Dr Shafkat Jahan and Dr Susan Jordan, Thomas investigated the impacts of pre-diagnosis beta-blocker use on breast cancer outcomes.
